Overview

NOGGIN is an interactive application by Nickelodeon that grows a child’s noggin with learning games, videos, and books designed by education experts. The terms say Nickelodeon does not allow children to communicate with others on public platforms, but this limitation is only on apps directed to children under 13. Additionally, Nickelodeon's terms say only on apps directed to children under 13 they do not allow users to use social media sharing or login functions. However, the terms say Nickelodeon may share users' personal information for third-party marketing purposes with co-branded partners. Nickelodeon's terms also say they do not allow targeted advertising to children or teens under 16, but they do allow contextual advertising to all children and teens.

Nickelodeon's terms say they sell user's personal information collected from apps that are directed to children, but do not sell data where Nickelodeon knows that the user is a child or a teen under 16. However, the terms also say Nickelodeon may track users with identifiers such as cookies and the advertising identifier associated with their mobile device and share that data with advertising partners, and those partners may use and share those identifiers to show targeted ads to users across the internet. For children under 13, Nickelodeon says they may still track users to serve contextual advertising and limit the number of times a child sees a particular advertisement. Lastly, the terms say users can access, modify, and delete their personal information and Nickelodeon obtains parental consent prior to the collection of children's personal information.

NOGGIN can be accessed through its website, and is available for download at the iOS App Store, and the Google Play Store.
