Overview

Epic is a streaming service for children’s books and other content. The policy indicates user content such as messages, photos, videos, and lesson plans may be submitted to the service and that Epic! enables limited communication between users. The policy states a user's profile name and user content may be viewable by other users. The policies specify personal information such as identifiers, payment information, device and usage information, and location information may be collected. The policy also confirms Epic! shares data with service providers for purposes such as website hosting, customer support, payment processing, order fulfillment, email delivery, auditing, and other services. The policy states Epic! does not sell or rent data. However, the policy confirms Epic! and their third-party partners collect data for purposes of targeted advertising. The policy indicates users must create an account with username and password to access the service but does not indicate if multi-factor authentication is used.
