Overview

Preparing for emergencies is an important way to keep families safe. It’s also something the whole family can do together in simple ways! This engaging, interactive tool helps parents and children (ages 2-5) get ready for the unexpected together. Kid-friendly songs and games introduce children to key emergency preparedness ideas, and tips and customizable checklists simplify emergency preparation for adults.

Sesame Street's terms state they do not make personal information collected from children publicly available or enable children to do so. However, Sesame Street's terms do not state whether they allow social interactions between users. Sesame Street's terms state they do not require a user to submit any personal information to use or engage with its activities, but do allow for the collection of personally identifiable information and collection of non-personal information automatically from cookies and similar technologies. The terms state that Sesame Street maintains technical and organizational tools to keep information secure. Lastly, the terms of Sesame Street state they will not condition a child's participation in any activity on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity.

The terms also specify that parents may contact Sesame Street to review, update, or delete any of their children's personal information that has been collected, and may request that Sesame Street not collect any additional personal information from their children.
