Overview
Truth Social is a social media and social networking service that encourages an open, free, and honest global conversation without discriminating against political ideology. The terms say Truth Social allows users to communicate with other users with messages or posts called truths. For example, like other social media apps when users post on Truth Social, they select the audience for the post, such as a group, all of their friends, the public, or a customized list of people. The terms say Truth Social does not sell users' data to third parties which includes personal information like a user’s name or the content of their posts. However, the terms say Truth Social may use the information they collect about a user including information about their interests, actions and connections to select and personalize targeted advertisements or send third-party marketing content. In addition, the terms say Truth Social allows third-party companies to track any user's browser or device for targeted advertising on other sites and services across the internet. Lastly, the terms say Truth Social is available to everyone, but users cannot register an account if they are under 18 years of age.
Truth Social can be accessed through its website, and is available for download at the iOS App Store.
