Overview

Matific provides immersive math learning apps available to children and students, and curriculum resources for parents and teachers. The terms of Matific say personal information such as a student's progress in the games and achievements are visible only to the parent, teacher or school representative that initially uploaded the student's information. In addition, Matific's terms say they do not sell any personal information to third-parties. However, personal information may be used to customize targeted advertisements to users on other sites or services, but the service does not use personal data for any personal profiling or automated decision making purposes. The terms state Matific provides parents and teachers with the ability to create accounts and associate student accounts with a teacher or parent. Lastly, Matific's terms say they require verifiable parental consent from a teacher or parent for a student or child under 13 years of age, and parents or teachers can review, access, modify, or delete a student's information.

Matific can be accessed through its website, and is available for download at the iOS App Store, and the Google Play Store. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use accessed for this evaluation can be found on Matific’s website.
